In January YES-DC organized a meeting on sustainable entrepreneurship in Utrecht. We heard two very interesting stories from an idea generator that ‘invests/develops’ from the one side (ENVIU), and from an entrepreneur who started everything from the ground up on the other side (Ampyx Windpower). Both showed various opportunities on how to make your sustainable ideas a reality, where to e.g. find the funds and knowledge to get a heads start, and what the challenges and rewards look like. Though it was a bit crowded the meeting was certainly very enjoyable, and a possible new ‘WOW’-project – a sustainable development project sponsored by ENVIU – even found its way through this meeting.
